Communication was very timely with Katrina , Good direction, convenient access (keypad). The house is simple and comfortable (the bed were awesome!) perfect base for exploring the area. Oh! DO NOT miss the Bacon Tree breakfast (NOT brunch) a short walk down the road. We'll definitely be back!

So much room for a big family in this pleasant home located in such a cute town! The host was always quick to respond and very attentive. Perfect for a get away without breaking the bank, complete with all the amenities and more than the average home would have. I highly recommend Katrina's location when coming to Maine

Katrina's place is in a rehabbed church kitchen with plenty of room to move around, a great kitchen with plenty of kitchen-y things and, very important, a comfy bed. It was a great place to get to after a day in the car. Katrina answered all questions promptly and gave instructions that got us there with no trouble. We will definitely stay again should we find ourselves in need of a place to stay in the Mt Dessert area.

Beautiful historic home with thoughtful extra touches for the guest to enjoy. Walkable location to sweet downtown Winterport, with an amazing Tea shop, antique store, and even a whimsical candy store for the kids. Lots of coastline to drive and enjoy! Bring your camera because this is quintessential Maine at its best and Katrina’s place with its fire pit and cozy bedding is the best and most cost effective place to lay your head after a long day exploring.

Everything was as advertised...a highly unique AirBnB located very centrally to all sorts of hiking and outdoor activities, including Acadia National Park. Nice sleepy sort of Maine town, also very close to Bangor which had perhaps a but more to offer in terms of a night life.

This two bed room apt is cozy and comfortable. We like the kitchen and living room area a lot, the picture reflects it accurately. The current arrangement fits 5 to 6 people well. The town is small and quiet.

The apartment was just as listed and pictured. Quite a lot of room and everything was clean plus lots of coffee/tea. Katrina kept in contact via text and we are able to let ourselves in. Very nice little town and a friendly black cat came to visit us outside. Gas station within walking distance. Only wish we needed to stay more than a night.

Great space which can accommodate a large group but was more than enough for our family of 4. Lots of great touches - books, tea, coffee, games, DVD player and brochures highlighting things to do in the area. Go visit Katrina at the pub in the port and have the flatbread with chicken sausage - it is to die for. Overall an excellent space!
