Crooked Steeple Hall

Preserving History, Hosting the Future

About Crooked Steeple Hall

Crooked Steeple Hall is a 1850’s church on the National Register of Historic Places that we have rescued by turning it into an event space. The hall hosts community events, holiday celebrations, music performances, corporate functions, and unique destination weddings. Most importantly, it enables non-profits to hold their events free of charge. Crooked Steeple Hall is part of the historic skyline of Winterport, a town that retains its quaint New England charm.

About Katrina

Founder Katrina Petersen bought Crooked Steeple because she fell in love with Winterport and couldn’t bear to see such an iconic feature of its skyline disappear. As a newly divorced mother, Katrina had limited time and limited funds, but she also had a vision and years of property management experience. Since buying the building 6 years ago, she's built an incredible team of businesswomen to help bring Crooked Steeple Hall to its full potential.
