My daughter, a high school senior, and I stayed with Katrina for three nights while she toured UMaine. I was initially drawn to Katrina's house because of the close proximity to the university, and I will be staying there again when we come to visit my daughter once school starts. The house was beautiful, warm and cozy. Katrina was friendly and made us feel right at home and it was a pleasure getting to know her. We found the house to be exactly as it was described, and we had a wonderful experience all the way around.

Relaxing family vacation while moving our daughter back to UMaine Orono. Very well equipped with everything to cook and clean that you could possibly need. New mattress was comfortable. Katrina is helpful and attentive but not intrusive . Even checking on us a couple of days after our arrival. We highly recommend this AirBnb when traveling in Maine.

We enjoyed every second of our stay at Katrina's place in Winterport. The apartment is very spacious with a kitchen, dining room area, bathroom, two bedrooms, and lounge area with TV. What's more, you are close to a few great restaurants like the Bacon Tree and small shops, and just over an hour away from Acadia National Park. My highest praise is for the communication that Katrina provides her guests. She helped me immensely with my plans during my stay, including an elaborate candle-filled evening in which I successfully proposed to my girlfriend! We celebrated in style thanks to the warmth of the people of Winterport and the comfort of the apartment. Highly recommend getting in touch with Katrina for your trip too!

We had the opportunity to host an adventurous couple from Minnesota at the Crooked Steeple - and to stage the scene for their proposal!

Set the Scene

We set the scene for the couple - complete with votives set up in a heart shape. My assistants took a lot of pride in the setup and were looking forward to seeing the results! The boys had never witnessed a proposal before, so they were beyond excited to help.

Once the votives were all set up, we added some roses, a bottle of wine from our neighbors at Winterport Winery, and some flowers. A perfect scene for a proposal! Don't you think? We were SO EXCITED to watch, it was hard to focus for the following hours. She had no idea it was coming - she thought they were just on another adventure together.....

SHE SAID YES!

We had a great stay, and this was the perfect spot to call home while visiting Granny & Granpa Hallet here in Winterport. During our stay, we celebrated Christmas with our new England family, worked on puzzles, played in the snow, went to Playland in Brewer and won 100 tickets at the arcade and saw Mary Poppins. Wil highly recommend.

The apartment was clean and well kept. We only stayed for one night, so didn't have time to enjoy all of the amenities. We would definitely stay there again.

I really enjoyed staying at Katrina's warm and cozy home. The home's use of color and exposed wood added to its visual appeal and made it feel even more relaxing. The kitchen had all the tools you might need and the beds were quite comfortable. The house is a short three minute walk from a beautiful river that has an exquisite sunrise. I definitely would come back next time I am in Winterport and would recommend this home. read less

How cozy! We loved our stay and your warm inviting home. The selection of local coffee and tea was delicious and everything we needed. Winterport looks beautiful at night, especially with wreaths abound for the holidays. Location is excellent, we loved the church’s proximity to the river. We will definately recommend to our friends!

The Crooked Steeple was beyond perfect for my Maine get away. Incredibly private, relaxing, a few houses down from the water, full kitchen, and nice size TV to hook up my ps4! perfect find. highly recommended.

My second stay at the "Crooked Steeple" was exactly as expected. Private. quite, close to Acadia, and a perfect retreat from the weather. More then enough rooming a great TV to hook my ps4 up to. Would definitely recommend.

The place is lovely and very spacious. Unfortunately we only stayed for less than 8 hours as we headed to Acadia at 4:30 am to watch the sunrise! We would have loved making use of the living room and kitchen as Katrina provides coffee and game boards for her guests. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to the area.

We stayed for one night at Katrina's place since we were headed to the Acadia National Park. The house is great, huge and very clean. We were 5 people and we had plenty of space in terms of bedrooms and kitchen. Quite big living room as well. We loved it! Katrina is a very good host, very responsive, I had no problem at all in communicating with her. We will come back for sure if we will need a room in Maine! Thanks a lot Katrina!
