Beautiful house and very neat history behind it. Katrina was an outstanding host. Booked last minute after a week long of car camping and it was everything my pup Sophie and I needed. The stroll through the town, the backyard amenities. Not to mention great conversations if you're into interacting with your host. Highly recommend.

Katrina's house is amazing, a great house with a great host. The house is spacious enough to have a lot of people spaced out and not feeling cramped. There are also a lot of cooking equipment to make all the kinds of food we were looking to make on our trip and everything was so extremely clean. Best of all Katrina was able to answer any questions we had and help us find things to do when one of our day's plans had to be cancelled. Would definitely come back if I'm ever up in Maine again!

Highly recommend staying here! It’s very unique, cute, and cozy. We drove to and from Acadia from here, between 60-90 minutes. Great place to end your end (Fire pit, comfy tv space, full kitchen, nice bed). It was very clean and the communication was great. I would definitely return.

This was such a great stay, I highly recommend! Katrina was very responsive and provided us with everything we needed and more. We didn’t get to explore around Winterport much but it was a great home base for us.

Katrina was a wonderful host! She thought of everything you might need! The bed was comfortable and the room spacious and clean! She provided fans on a hot night and local tips! The bonus of doing laundry after a week of travel was so welcome! There’s a cute winery right near her place that’s worth checking out too!

The stay at Crooked Steeple was great, very cozy. Winterport is about an hour outside of Acadia and Bar Harbor, so a bit of a trek, but centrally located within about 30mins from Bangor, Ellsworth and Belfast. Overall if you’re looking to experience more than just Bar Harbor and Acadia, this is a fantastic stay.

Katrina's 1812 Pierce Home was the perfect spot for our history and adventure buff group. The personal and thoughtful touches were above and beyond anything our group has seen at an AirBnB before. The only thing I wish was different, was that we had more time to spend there. ;) Katrina is a top-tier host who is a great communicator and warm welcome home. Of current condition note: It was very obvious that Katrina fully prepared her spaces to provide the best and safest conditions for guests to combat COVID-19. What a gem!!

Katrina really stepped up to make our experience as good as it could be. She communicated directly and clearly, and did everything we requested to make our stay comfortable, including purchasing two very good dehumidifiers. Heat was not the issue, humidity in the space was intense. This was completely resolved with the dehumidifiers. Crooked Steeple is quaint and charming, however, the apartment is in the back and bottom of the building. There isn't a ton of natural light nor possibility for a cross breeze - fans were helpful, dehumidifiers crucial. As a result, the couches have taken a beating and need some updating. The bed seemed new and was very comfortable. As an added benefit of staying at Crooked Steeple, Katrina - through a co-owner, Armanda - offers concierge services. Armanda provided us with tons of very helpful information and curated a list of activities based on our preferences. Crooked steeple is very conveniently located for day trips throughout mid-coast Maine.

My friends and our dogs had just finished a 7 day camping road trip and this was our last stay before going home. We were able to shower, rest, and reset before a long drive and it was much needed! The house was welcoming with warmth and had all the things we could need.
